MiG-25 'Foxbat'
Fighter-Interceptor
in pictures

This section is dedicated to pictures of the MiG-25 'Foxbat' interceptor.  Our pictures are Cold War originals in our possession.  They were taken at some time when the aircraft was in active service.  We will add more photographs as they are acquired, but until then, will do our best with what we have.

A side view of a MiG-25A

Here is one of our better photos of a MiG-25 'Foxbat'.  The color pattern of the aircraft is clearly visible and a number of air to air missiles can be seen.  Unfortunately, no location and date was given with this photograph.

Two views of aircraft 77

These two low quality photographs are both of aircraft number 77.  The exact squadron is currently unknown, but it is a Foxbat-E variant.

The first photograph shows a nice side view, while the bottom photo shows the aircraft as it begins to pull away.

The date and location of the pictures were not listed in either  photograph, but it is known that they were taken at some time during the Cold War.

Two views of aircraft 64

Here we have another pair of pictures showing the same aircraft.  In this case aircraft number 64.

The first photograph shows a close up of the four missiles the aircraft is carrying, while the bottom view shows the aircraft as it begins to move away from the camera.

As with the two pictures above, neither the date or location of the pictures were listed in either  photograph.

Another MiG-25E

This photograph is a bit clearer than aircraft 77 above.  One of its air-to-air missiles can be seen under the wing, as can its aircraft number '23' in this case.

While the photograph gives no indication of where it was taken, it does state that the picture was taken in 1987.
