The uniform changes of the late 1980's were designed to codify numerous earlier regulations as well as clarify various 'unofficial' uniform modifications.  These rules were known as the Uniform Regulations of 1989.  They were broader than the previous changes and became the final form of Soviet uniform design.  As with everything on this site, more uniforms will be added as they are acquired.  In any case we will attempt to have detailed descriptions of each uniform along with a photograph of the uniform being worn.
