Guided Missile Corvette in pictures

 

This section is dedicated to pictures of the 'Tarantul' class missile corvettes.  All three variants will be covered as soon as their pictures are obtained by the Foundation.  Our pictures are all authentic and were taken at some time when the ship was in active service.  We will add more photographs as they are acquired, but until then, will do our best with what we have.

 

A high definition photo of the Tarantul III

This picture of a Tarantul III is identical to the color picture on the previous page except that it is in high definition black and white.  Many small details can be seen here that cannot be seen in the color photo.  This boat was photographed by the US Navy on 4 October 1989 while in the Sea of Japan.
