This section is dedicated to pictures of the 'Zulu' class submarine.  The picture here is authentic and was taken at some time when the submarine was in active service.  This picture was taken by the United States Navy during the Cold War.  Hopefully some Soviet pictures will be made available soon for us to display.

   

A converted Zulu submarine

The 'Zulu' class submarine in this picture was one of the ballistic missile conversion boats.  It was taken in November of 1970 by the US Navy.  The photo does not give any indication of where it was taken.
