This section is dedicated to pictures of of the BT-5 medium tank. We have a few pictures to show you in this section. They are both authentic and were taken at the time the tank was in service. In the future, we will put descriptions with as many of the pictures as we can so that a greater understanding of the BT-5 can be gained. |
Abandoned wheeled BT-5 This unfortunate BT-5 is seen as it was being salvaged by German forces sometime in 1941 or 1942. This tank was operating without tracks as the BT-5 often did when they traveled on roads. As it appears to be undamaged, the tank was most likely abandoned by its original crew. |

A tracked BT-5 Here we have yet another unfortunate BT-5, this one is tracked. It too was destroyed by the Germans during the war. The photo did not state where or when the picture was taken.
