The medal for the Capture of Budapest was awarded to all Soviet servicemen of the Army, Navy, and NKVD who participated in the battle to take the Hungarian capital which was finally cleared of enemy forces on 13 February 1945.

Medal for the Capture of Berlin

The medal for the Capture of Berlin was awarded to all Soviet servicemen of the Army, Navy, and NKVD who participated in the epic battle to take the capital of Hitler's Germany. Over 2.5 million men took part in the battle, along with 6,250 tanks, 7,500 aircraft, and 42,000 artillery pieces.

Medal for Victory over Germany

This medal was given to all servicemen and civilian employees of the armed forces who took part in action on battlefronts of the Great Patriotic war. Employed civilians had to have served for at least 6 months to receive it, and soldiers had to serve at least 3 months.  It marked the end of a long and bitter struggle, and the beginning of the time of reconstruction.
