Provisional Government 100 Ruble Note

This section shows a 100 ruble note used by the White Forces in 1918.  The front has the serial number (in Cyrillic) AF505285.  The reverse shows the Russian double headed eagle (without crowns) between the denomination of the note.  Imprinted signatures can also be found below these numbers.

South Russian 1000 Ruble Note

Here you can see a 1000 ruble note from southern Russia in 1919.  The reverse shows its serial number preceded by two Cyrillic letters: BC00004

South Russian 5000 Ruble Note

This note was used in southern Russia in 1919.  The front features St. George over a serpent/dragon.  The white strip on the side features a faint double headed eagle (without crowns) water mark.  On the reverse, below this watermark is the serial number (in Cyrillic): YaV-048.  The denomination is visible below this.  It measures 225mm x 115mm.

South Russian 10,000 Ruble Note

Here is a ten thousand ruble banknote issued in South Russia in 1919.  The front features the Russian double headed eagle flanked by two armed women.  The white space to the right shows the denomination.  A detailed watermark can be seen in this space.  The reverse has the serial number YaI-093 and the signatures of the Chief of Finance (M. Bernatsky) and the Chief of Credit (D. Nikiforov).  The banknote measures 201mm x 101mm.
